DESCRIPTION: ZIRFLOW 278 is a zircon water based coating designed for iron and steel castings. ZIRFLOW 278 can be applied by brushing, dipping, flow coating, or spraying. The rheological properties of ZIRFLOW 278 contribute to improved workability and consistency, providing improved surface finish and casting quality. ZIRFLOW 278 IS DESIGNED TO REDUCE DRYING TIME SIGNIFICANTLY. Because of the excellent suspension of ZIRFLOW 278, minimal settling occurs which allows for easy re-dispersion. The coating is designed to be reduced with water at the customer's facility

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

ZIRFLOW 278 should be mixed with a pneumatic or an electric mixer. Material must be mixed thoroughly in its container before diluting. ZIRFLOW 278 is designed to be diluted by the customer to its proper specification according to the application. ZIRFLOW 278 must be torch or oven dried prior to casting.
